Bon Jovi Announced as Headliner for London’s Newest Summer Festival

britishsummertimeThe new Barclaycard British Summer Time Festival, brought to you by AEG Live and The Royal Parks,  have announced Rock legends Bon Jovi as their first headline act.

The festival, hailed as a totally a ‘unique and world-class event’, will take place at Hyde Park, London between 28th June – 7th July 2013.

More than a simple festival, Barclaycard British Summer Time Festival links a live music-packed weekend to a midweek programme of diverse entertainment, accessible for everyone.

From Monday to Thursday, the entire Barclaycard British Summer Time site, saved for the main stage, will give revellers the chance to get involved with smaller, more intimate events offering film, music, literature, sport and a specific family day that will appeal to the whole family.

Across Hyde Park, there will be four themed zones within the site, each with its own specially designed installations and entertainment, including high quality restaurants, bespoke salons, pubs, cocktail bars, cafes, bistros and independent food stalls.

AEG Live has made a multi-million pound investment and a five-year commitment to ensure this is a truly unforgettable experience.

Bon Jovi’s appearance at Barclaycard Summer Time Festival is part of their Because We Can world tour and will be the highlight of their 7 UK summer dates. They promise to ‘wow’ the festival-goers with a heady mix of rock smash-hits as well as some new songs from their forthcoming ‘What About Now?’ album (released March 25th).

Barclaycard British Summer Time promise to release yet more high-profile acts in the coming weeks, giving music fans the chance to see many of their favourite artists right in the heart of the Capital.
