As part of the Relentless Energy Drink Here to be Heard campaign, Everything Everything have selected five unsigned bands to be shortlisted to play at this year’s Reading Festival.

After 250 bands entered the competition, Everything Everything shortlisted their top five acts for the festival slot.

The acts were then mentored by the group at the Relentless Store on No.5 Denmark Street.

Now, the public can vote for their favourite act who will win the chance to perform at the festival.

Speaking of their finalist decisions, Everything Everything said: “The standard and diversity of the entries really blew us away. It’s brilliant to hear so much varied talent, and that there are people who are passionate about making good music and following their own pathways. The finalists we chose are a pretty eclectic mix, but that’s typical of us, and being touched or moved by music goes way deeper than any notion of style or genre. Having spent a bit of time with all five acts, we’re sure they will all go on to great things. They all know who they are and what they’re doing. We’re just glad we don’t have to pick the winner!”
