Hit The North Festival announces rescheduled 2020 date

Hit The North festival has announced its rescheduled date.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Newcastle multi-venue music festival will now take place on Sunday 18th October.

Due to the date shift, previous Opening Party headliners Pale Waves have joined this year’s main festival line-up, alongside Tim Burgess.

The two new additions join the previously announced lineup, which includes LMLL favourites Fickle Friends, Larkins and Marsicans.

Speaking of the rescheduled date, Hit The North Director Steve Davis said: “In these difficult times for all of us, let alone the hospitality and events industry, I’m proud of our staff for managing to reschedule the vast majority of the line-pip. I’m really excited for this year’s festival and once again, I thank you all for your support. It’s amazing to see all of the agents and artists support the event and hopefully we can all be together to celebrate defeating this terrible virus in October.”

Stage line-ups, festival venues and more will be revealed in the coming months!

Tickets for Hit The North Festival 2020 are on sale, priced at £32.50 (plus booking fee).
