Introducing; The Cab

The Cab, featuring Alex DeLeon on vocals, Alex Marshall on keys/guitar, Joey Thunder on bass, and Dave Briggs on drums, originally formed in 2005 while Marshall and DeLeon were at college.

After playing a series of acclaimed local shows, their name spread rapidly around their hometown of Las Vegas, Nevada.  Inspired, and with borrowed money, The Cab then headed to the dream land of California and started recording and touring in earnest.

Since then, the band have taken their sound straight to the next level resulting in the brand new album ‘Symphony Soldier’. Enlisting top producer John Feldmann (Panic! At the Disco, The Used, Good Charlotte) to helm the album, which also features contributions from Bruno Mars, Adam Levine of Maroon 5, Martin Johnson of Boys Like Girls, and many more.

Upon its U.S. release in August 2011, ‘Symphony Soldier’ debuted on iTunes’ Top 10 Charts as a featured “New and Noteworthy” release in August, hitting number 6 overall and becoming the number 2 rock record in the US, while reaching number 3 in Canada and number 1 on the U.K. rock charts.

Now, the band are now set to take the UK by storm and we’re in full support of them!

Their first UK single release ‘Bad’ will be released on Right Track/Universal on 17th September.
The band will then release album ‘Symphony Soldier’ on 24th September.

With fan Twitters already established in the UK, for example The Cab Scotland, it seems that it is not just us who are eager to see the band achieve UK success!
