Native | 5 tracks that influenced ‘I See You In The Distance’

Native has released his new EP ‘I See you In The Distance’.

Spending his last summer in LA, Native made a record with his friends with Jordan Ruiz recording and producing.

Speaking of the EP, Native said: “‘I see You In The Distance’ isn’t only my most personal work so far as it was the hardest to do. I’ve never felt more honest, naked and vulnerable in my work.”

To celebrate the EP release, we caught up with Native to discover 5 tracks that influenced ‘I See You In The Distance’.

Leif Vollebekk – Transatlantic Flight | Listen via Spotify
Love his writing and how he captured his performance on the record.

Jeffrey Martin – Long Gone Now | Listen via Spotify
One of my favourites and every song of ‘One Go Around’!

David Ramirez – Time | Listen via Spotify
Ramirez’ record ‘We’re Not Going Anywhere’ was on a lot during the time of writing ‘I See You In The Distance’.

Phoebe Bridgers – Funeral | Listen via Spotify
I’m in love with Phoebe’s writing.

Tom Yorke – Dawn Chorus | Listen via Spotify
What a song. What a performance!
