Nina Nesbitt to release ‘The Apple Tree’ EP

Nina Nesbitt will release her 2nd EP the ‘Apple Tree EP’ on May 7th.

The release will coincide with arena supports with Example, sell out headline shows in London, Manchester and Edinburgh, and various summer festivals.

Emerging into the music scene at just 16 years old, thanks to her cover versions via YouTube it was at an intimate Ed Sheeran gig in Edinburgh where everything turned upside down.

Sheeran having heard of her talent asked her to play him a song. Soon after, Example saw Nina’s unique version of his song ‘Stay Awake’, was instantly impressed and ended up tweeting her You Tube channel to his large number of followers.

Sheeran then asked Nina to support him at his Glasgow show (she also joined him onstage to sing a duet at London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire), and Nina enjoyed further support slots including Example’s December tour.

Since then, Nina self-released the ‘Live Take’ EP (a first glimpse for many of Nina’s own song craft), made a small cameo appearance in Sheeran’s Drunk video, announced her first headline tour, performed sessions for BBC Introducing and received her first Radio 1 play as well as signing a publishing deal and touring Europe with Ed Sheeran!
