NNME has confirmed the return of their annual award ceremony with the announcement of a special launch party.

The launch is set to take place on 16th November at Tape London, with a performance from Nothing But Thieves. Fans can win tickets to attend via NME’s competition page.

Mike Williams, NME editor-in-chief, revealed that voting for the VO5 NME Awards 2018 will open that night, with more announcements still to come.

The main event will take place on 14th February at London’s O2 Academy Brixton with award categories including ‘Best British Band’, ‘Best New Artist’, ‘Best Album’ and ‘Best Track’.
