Britain’s biggest boy band have taken the charts by storm this Sunday, giving the band a UK chart double.

The band have managed to not only bag themselves a number one single, but a number one album to go with it.

‘Little things’ taken from their new album ‘Take Me Home’ stormed to the top of the charts beating Bruno Mars’ ‘Locked Out Of Heaven’ and fellow X factor act little mix with ‘DNA.’

This is the bands second number one single in the UK, but first number one album as the group narrowly missed out on a number one with their last album ‘Up All Night’ charting at number two.

The band even managed to beat British legends Rod Stewart and the Rolling Stones to the top of the album chart.

The band were clearly very happy and thankful for getting this far, Harry Styles tweeted: ‘Hello …Thank you so much for all your support with this album. We can’t believe the number ones today! Thank you thank you. Huge Love .xx’

Louis Tomlinson also tweeted his thanks to the fans adding ‘you inspire us’

A well deserved double chart victory for a very well loved and talented band.
