RESONATE has unveiled its full 2018 festival line-up.

Packed with workshops, masterclasses, panels and drop-in events, with the aim of encouraging a more collaborative Scottish music industry, RESONATE will return to BAaD (Barras Art and Design) on November 15th.

Targeted towards industry professionals from across Scotland with a focus on innovation, music industry training, collaboration and business development, the one-day event will celebrate Scotland’s music scene while encouraging its growth with an accessible event.

Opening Keynote speaker will be Maggie Crowe, Director of Events and Charities at the British Phonographic industry, who run events including the BRIT Awards and Mercury Prize.

This year’s workshops include themes around music export, A&R, Crowdfunding and mental health, featuring BPI, Pledge and Help Musicians Scotland, alongside Tech Hubs including helpful advice for recording on a budget and music production.

If you’re heading along looking for some music advice, drop-in sessions will take place with journalists, artist management, PR and funding foundations, alongside a ‘Meet The Creative’ community where Musicians Against Homelessness, Vox Liminis and The Sound Lab will offer their advice and expertise.

This year’s line-up also includes representatives from Parlophone, Distillery Music, SXSW and Liverpool’s Sound City, alongside Tim Abbot (manager of The Blinders/former manager at Oasis, Robbie Williams, Primal Scream) and Paul Whalley (Mumford & Sons, Ellie Goulding).
