The Script will return to Scotland to celebrate the forthcoming release of their new album ‘Freedom Child’.

Unveiling new track ‘Rain’ this month, the single marked almost three years since their last release as it made its way into the iTunes top ten and received airplay on stations including Radio 1, BBC Radio 2 and Heart.

The new single also marked the announcement of the band’s fifth studio album ‘Freedom Child’, due out on September 1st.

Recorded between London and LA, the band worked with co-writers and producers for the first time to create the 14-track release.

As they gear up to release their new album, The Script will headline Edinburgh’s Usher Hall as part of their intimate UK tour on August 29th.

Swapping the stadiums for the smaller stages, the intimate shows will introduce fans to their new-found sound while celebrating the hits that have seen the band sell 29 million records to date.

Support on the night will come from JP Cooper.

Tickets for the tour are on sale now via the Usher Hall.
