McFly’s new single ‘Shine A Light’ featuring Taio Cruz landed at number 4, after slipping back a place from the midweek chart.
The top ten was also host to Cheryl Cole’s single ‘Promise This’ at number 7 and after 32 weeks in the chart Adele’s single ‘Make You Feel My Love’ reached number 9, thanks to its appearance on the popular TV show X-Factor.
In the album charts Susan Boyle scooped the number one slot with her new album ‘The Gift’.
Bon Jovi’s Greatest Hits remained at number two, whilst Cheryl Cole’s ‘Messy Little Raindrops’ slipped to number three.
A new entry for James Blunt seen his album ‘Some Kind Of Trouble’ gain the number 4 spot, while after 56 weeks in the chart Michael Buble moved up a position with ‘Crazy Love’ to number 5.
