Take That break record sales with Number One album

Take That have broken the record with their album sales this week taking them straight to the number one spot in the charts.

There is no surprise that this weeks number one album goes to Take That with their album ‘Progress’ after the album had the highest first-week sales for 13 years, as NME reported.

In the rest of the chart Rihanna new album ‘Loud’ has taken the number two spot, with last weeks number one Susan Boyle falling to number three.

It seems a popular week for Greatest Hits albums, P!nk’s ‘Greatest Hits So Far’ is another new entry in the chart at number five, while Bon Jovi’s ‘Greatest Hits’ is down four places at number six.

The rest of the top ten sees a new entry for legend Bruce Springsteen at number seven with ‘The Promise’ and Cheryl Cole ‘Messy Little Raindrops’ has fallen 5 places to number eight.

Michael Buble’s album ‘Crazy Love’ and Katy Perry’s ‘Teenage Dream’ sit at the number nine and ten slots.

In the top twenty there are three new entries this week: Russell Watson with ‘The Platinum Collection’ at number fourteen, Shayne Ward with ‘Obsession’ at number fifteen and McFly’s ‘Above The Noise’ at number twenty.
