Take That break world record with new album ‘Progress’

Take That have managed to break a world record thanks to the sales of their brand new album ‘Progress’.

Take That’s new album ‘Progress’ has become the fastest selling album of the century gaining over 235,000 first day sales, according to the Official Charts Company.

The opening figure was the biggest first day sales for an album this century.

The record before this was held by Oasis for their album ‘Be Here Now’ in 1997.

This is the first album the original line-up have produced since Robbie Williams has re-joined the band and it seems with the success of the first day of sales alone, they have made the right decision!
