The Bronx have been announced as the special guests set for Fireball’s Fuelling The Fire Tour 2018.

The LA punk rockers will join the UK tour throughout December 2018 alongside previously announced bands Flogging Molly, Face to Face and Lost In Stereo.

Speaking of the tour announcement, frontman Matt Caughthran said: “We are so stoked to be a part of the 2018 Fireball – Fuelling the Fire Tour with Flogging Molly, Face to Face, and Lost in Stereo! We played it with Mariachi el Bronx back in 2016 and had a fucking blast, but now it’s time for some proper Bronx Carnage. These shows will be our last of the year so you can guarantee we are gonna give ‘em everything we got! Get the Fireball ready…”

Fancy playing alongside The Bronx? Fireball has also launched its Fireball’s Hottest Band 2019 competition giving local bands the chance to win an opening support slot on the tour in their local hometown.

Bands can now enter via the Academy Music website. In a new twist for this year, the top three bands from each city will be invited to perform at regional heats at O2 Academy Venues across the country with nine winners in each city selected on the night by a panel of judges.

The nine winners will then open the show in their respective city, with the overall finalist crowned Fireball’s Hottest Band 2019 with the opportunity to play the entire Fireball Fuelling The Fire Tour in 2019 alongside year-long guidance and support from Fireball and Academy Events.

The competition closes on Monday 16th July 2018 with finalists announced on Wednesday 1st August 2018.
