The Crookes are about to embark on the next ‘Get It Loud In Libraries’ tour, playing 5 public libraries throughout the UK in October.
The band are also asking fans to bring their favourite books to recommend or even swap with other fans to ‘ make this the most literary of rock outings’.
The tour fits the band as their forthcoming ‘Dreams Of Another Day EP’ which is due for release on September 27th, features an Evelyn Waugh quote on it and the guys cite Kerouac’s ‘On The Road’ as a handbook to their
relentless touring schedule.
The roll-call of acts that previously playing the project is impressive, for example Florence + The Machine, Bat For Lashes, Adele, Mr Hudson and Professor Green have all blasted the dust off the books too.
The tour dates are as follows;
October:
Friday 1st SHEFFIELD Library
Saturday 2nd LANCASTER Library
Sunday 3rd OLDHAM Library
Monday 4th RUGBY Library
Wednesday 6th BOURNE END, Bucks Library
Tickets are £6.50 for all shows and are available by clicking here.
