The first wave of the 2013 ‘Let Them Eat Cakes’ world tour sees the band kicking off the New Year in North America, before venturing back to the UK and Europe for February/March.
Revisiting Australia in April 2013 the Suffolk glam rock quartet will be joined by Joan Jett & The Blackhearts. The Darkness; consisting of lead singer Justin Hawkins, guitarist brother Dan Hawkins, Frankie Poullain on bass and drummer Ed Graham will also make a return to New Zealand for the first time since their appearance at Big Day Out festival back in 2004.
‘Let Them Eat Cakes’ will be the first lengthy run of headline shows The Darkness has been able to undertake since the release of ‘Hot Cakes’. It’s certainly one of the most anticipated tours of 2013 as the spandex-clad foursome, not renowned for being shy and retiring, are sure to deliver an unforgettable show.
