The Overtones launch challenge to create the world’s biggest vocal harmony group recording

The Overtones are set to break records with this innovative mass participation challenge teaming up with fans around the world to create the biggest vocal harmony group recording of their self-penned hit ‘Gambling Man’.

‘Gambling Man’ features on the band’s debut platinum selling album ‘Good Ol’ Fashioned Love’ which recently hit #4 on the UK album chart.

Singers, male or female, can take part in creating an epic new version of the song, and the process couldn’t be simpler.

Fans wanting to step into the band’s shoes should head to http://www.theovertones.tv/the-overtones-challenge and choose which band member’s part you’d like to sing.

The link features two videos for each member: one practice video so you can learn the song by singing along with your chosen Overtone and another, without his vocal, which you can film yourself singing along to.

When your captivating vocal is complete, it’s a simple case of uploading the video as a YouTube response. Just follow the instructions on the competition page and you can’t go wrong!

Any wannabe Overtone can of course opt to upload a vocal part for each band member – the more participation, the better!

By taking part you’ll be entered into a draw to win two VIP tickets to see The Overtones on October 24th at The Palladium in London and meet the band.

The challenge will close on Monday 29th August.
