Amber Run have returned with the release of their new single ’52 Blue’.

The new single follows the band’s recently announced October 2021 UK tour dates.

Speaking of the single, singer-guitarist Joe Keogh said the track is based upon the story of “a blue whale that sings at a different pitch from all the others and swims the ocean calling out to no reply, searching for an answer it wouldn’t be able to hear or understand.

“This song is as existential as it gets. Why are we here? Why do I feel like this? When will it change? Could it change at all?”

Amber Run have the knack for creating atmospheric singles that encapsulate you in their sound. This powerful storytelling gem is another beautiful glistening track from the trio that’s entrancing from the get-go.
