Apollo Junction have released their new single ‘On The Ropes’.

The new single from the Leeds lads is taken from their forthcoming second album.

Apollo Junction are also hoping to play their biggest headline show to date at Leeds Warehouse this March.

Speaking of the single, the band said: “‘On the Ropes’ is a reflection on the world today. We give so much away nowadays. The world to quote a great man ‘can beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it’ What do you get back? We all work every hour God sends – all we get is debt, taxes, responsibilities, deceitful influencers, social media politics. Nothing feels real, it’s not enough for us. We live in the strangest of times and in the last year, it’s only got harder for us all. You can’t help but be affected by that.’On the Ropes’ is our call to arms to keep getting up, keep moving forward and keep giving it all you’ve got! Never forgetting Apollo Junction are by your side.”

Fusing 90s Britpop with synth-led alt-rock, the driving release pulsates towards its anthemic chorus. It’s an explosive track that can be instantly envisaged blaring from the stage live with the crowd bounding along.
