Cardinals have released their new single ‘Unreal’.

The single follows the release of debut track ‘Roseland’ and is the second track from the band’s recording sessions with Richie Kennedy (U2, Interpol).

Speaking of the single, frontman Euan Manning said: “It was written in the back of a ford transit van that I was living in at the time. ‘Unreal’ reminds me of sunny days spent on the beaches at home. I remember learning a Beach Boys song, taking one of the chords from it, and building the whole song around that.”

‘Unreal’ is a vibrant indie pop release brimming with jangly energy, which has left us counting down the days to festival season. Serving as the perfect track to ignite our anticipation for summer nights singing out loud in a field with friends whilst clutching an ice cold pint.
