Clean Cut Kid have released their new single ‘We Used To Be In Love’.

The single comes amidst the band’s mammoth summer run with 27 festival appearances across the UK.

Speaking of the single, singer Mike Hall explained: “One of the most heart shattering things about breaking up with someone is how this person, who used to be at the centre of your whole universe, is suddenly no more a part of your life than a distant stranger. ‘We Used To Be In Love’ is about passing that person in the street and wanting to scream ‘DON’T YOU REMEMBER WHAT WE USED TO FEEL FOR EACH OTHER?!?!’”

With its summery vibe, ‘We Used To Be In Love’ is set for singalongs packed with relatable lyrics soundtracked to glistening guitars.

The single also comes ahead of the band’s forthcoming October UK headline tour.
