Cloud House have released their new single ‘Don’t Wanna Talk’.

The single is the first track taken from their upcoming second EP, also titled ‘Still Here’, due for release on November 1st.

The poignant track was written by lead guitarist Patrick for bandmate Conor following the death of his mother.

Speaking of the single, Patrick said: “I wrote the song during a time when Conor needed to be grieving on his own. It came from a place of feeling really helpless – wanting to be there for your best friend but knowing that there’s nothing you can really do or say that makes anything easier. It’s about finding hope during the darkest times.”

Despite its emotional undertones, the single is an anthemic indie rock release. Set to an intricate sonic soundscape with captivating melodies, jangly guitars and catchy lyrics, it’s a memorable release that will leave you singing along in one listen.
