Dictator have released their new single ‘Taped Up’.

The new track from the Edinburgh and West Lothian group comes ahead of the band’s forthcoming hometown headline show at Edinburgh’s Sneaky Pete’s on February 28th.

Speaking of the single, the band said: “Originally written for a friend’s combat sports podcast, ‘Taped Up’ is about the grit and determination required to get to the top of your game in any discipline. We hope it can inspire and motivate, as well as serve as a warning of the dangers and loneliness of being at the top.”

‘Taped Up’ is an engaging release that’ll have you hooked in seconds and singing along by the end. With almost haunting vocals encased in a moody melodic sound, the single sounds straight from the alternative noughties soundscape, bound to leave indie lovers intrigued.
