Kimono Loco have unveiled their new single ‘Big Boy’.
Out now via Nothing Important Records, the single is the first track taken from their upcoming EP.
The EP was produced by Westwood Studios engineer Shane Shanahan (Kygo, Scott Walker, Pharrell Williams, Kanye West, Frank Ocean), alongside the band’s own vocalist James Hofbauer.
Speaking of the single, Kimono Loco said: “‘Big Boy’ is our most ridiculous track yet, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. You can hear much more of the 80’s in this EP and that’s something you can expect from us in the future.”
An instantly infectious 80’s infused release, with vocals sounding reminiscent of Bastille, the synth-infused single intertwines deep bass with playful guitar creating a bouncy groove-along release, with contagious lyrics. You’ll never say the word ‘paracetamol’ in the same way again.
