Kohla has released the video for new single ‘T O U C H’.

The track is the latest single from Edinburgh R&B/electronic musical project from Rachel Alice Johnson marking the first release together with her label Last Night From Glasgow.

Speaking of the single, Kohla explained: “Taking inspiration from Tinashe, SZA, Banks and Kate Bush, T O U C H is my first release with my new label, Last Night From Glasgow. The track initially started as a piano ballad, but it became surprisingly dancey once I took it into the studio with Dave Lloyd from Lost Oscillation.

“It was the perfect opportunity to showcase whats in store for the Kohla live shows – Natalie Divine, Flora But Quang Da and I choreographed the dance routine, with the amazing Brian Sweeney directing and Fabio Rabelo Paiva on videography. We were super lucky to be given filming permission in Glasgow’s Sub Club, where we made the most of the dance floor, smoke and coloured lights to enhance the track’s underground and mystic vibe.”

With her sultry steeped electro-pop sound soundtracking her entrancing vocals, the mesmerising video simply enhances the almost mysterious single adding to the creative uniqueness of Kohla.
