London art-rock outfit Legss have released their new single ‘909’.
The single release follows the announcement of their debut album ‘Unreal’ which is due out on September 12th.
Alongside the single release, the band revealed headline October UK tour dates including Edinburgh’s Sneaky Pete’s on 9th October.
Speaking of their new single, the band said: “909 has existed in various forms for a few years now. There’s a 10-minute disco version somewhere. It’s a song that has developed with us and been rewritten at every stage, and now it’s in its final form: a stark, cubist, bass-driven day in the life of a nine-to-fiver addicted to radio podcasts.”
There’s something almost hypnotic about the sound of ‘909’ that blurs the lines of punk with an almost erratic and unsettling edge yet one that manages to keep you engaged in every second. Its sonic storytelling guides you through a layered journey that keeps you on edge guessing what’s to come next yet when it ends, you’re hitting repeat.
