Mellah has released his new single ‘Family Fun’.

Premiered via Annie Mac’s Radio 1 show, the new track from Liam Ramsden (AKA Mellah) is taken from his forthcoming debut album.

Speaking of his music, Mellah said: “I often feel quite a lot of anger at society and how people seem to ignore injustice just for a cup of tea and a comfy sofa. We consume these sanitised shrink-wrapped little nuggets of reality whereas the rest of the world’s crawling around in the mud. It seems crazy to me that people aren’t angry about it, don’t want it to change.”

Tackling these subjects infused in indie pop, ‘Family Fun’ is a dance-along alt-pop treat with a melody that leaves a mark. After one listen, we couldn’t resist hitting repeat and have no shame admitting it’s soundtracked our entire morning since. One to add to all summer playlists and a name we’ll be keeping an eye on this summer.
