Orlando Hotopf has released his new single ‘Confessions’.

Recorded in Sweden and the US by Zebastian Swartz (Shitbaby Mammals) and Greg Calbi (David Bowie, Bon Iver), the new track from the singer-songwriter is the first single taken from his forthcoming debut album.

Speaking of the single, Orlando said: “‘Confessions’ is the first single from my new album I started writing when I moved to Sweden from the UK. Before I was mainly writing indie-folk songs and I wanted to create something a bit more dancy with a faster tempo and more energy. I would say ‘Confessions’ is definitely the most commercial song I have written, I love the feel of the song and its great to experiment with other genres of music. I am planning to go back into the studio in September with my band and record the second single for this project, which will hopefully be out in November this year.”
