Philomenah has released her new single ‘Vacant Moments’.

Produced by Lost Hero and mixed and mastered by Dave Lloyd (Stillhound, Kohla, Fourth Daughter) at LostOscillation studios in Leith, ‘Vacant Moments’ is the latest single from the Edinburgh alternative R&B artist.

Speaking of the single, Hannah said: “The writing process for ‘Vacant Moments’ was definitely motivated by a feeling of surrender. I had been trying for a while to write another positive, upbeat song after my previous single Lavender but it just wasn’t coming. When I accepted how I was feeling, I was able to write something authentic about my feelings of emptiness and I’m happy with how it turned out.”

This dark r&b track beautifully encapsulates Philomenah’s vocal tone. The chorus is succinctly catchy and feels familiar by the time it loops around again.
