Track of the Day | Polar States – Fade Out (of here)

Polar States have released their new single ‘Fade Out (of here).

The track is the second single taken from their forthcoming EP ‘All You Couldn’t See’, co-produced by Larry Hibbitt (Sundara Karma, Nothing But Thieves, Sea Girls, Bloxx).

Speaking of the single, vocalist Paul Tong said: “You know those mornings where you’re stood in the shower thinking about everything and it becomes overwhelming? It’s like there’s this noise in your head. ‘Fade Out’ is a song about trying to turn down that chaos.

“We’re living in a time where were constantly bombarded by low-quality distractions and it often feels like sensory overload, like being at the centre of a massive kaleidoscope. The abundance of choice has limited our ability to make decisions and sometimes you just want to push everything away so you can breathe.”

We’ll all relate to those shower life contemplation moments that are encapsulated in ‘Fade Out’. An anthemic indie release, with soaring guitars and ethereal vocals, the track builds up to an explosive repetitive chorus, just like the motion of thoughts in our head.
