Rufus has released his new single ‘Settle’.

The track was produced by Rufus, alias of artist-producer Ben Lobban, from his home studio in Edinburgh.

Speaking of the single, Ben said: “During lockdown I found it too easy to let myself be overwhelmed with worry and not look after my wellbeing. I slid into bad habits, too much tv, and not enough sleep. Recognising I needed a change, I made a commitment to do more things that would make me feel healthier. I started cycling; I rediscovered my love of camping; I learned how to cook better. That positivity in turn made me more motivated and eventually I worked myself out of the hole I was in. ‘Settle’ refects that feeling of being your own source of contentment and wellbeing.”

‘Settle’ had us hooked from the first listen, with its uplifting sonic palette.
