The Hara have released their new single ‘Fool & The Thief’.

Marking the band’s first single released via Scruff Of The Neck record label, the new track comes ahead of their forthcoming appearances at Reading and Leeds Festivals.

Speaking of the single, the band elaborate, “‘Fool & The Thief’ was born alongside [previous single] ‘Black Soul Ceremony’ in Barcelona late last year with our writing companion and good friend Brad Mair.

“I seem to remember the process of this song starting with a Twenty One Pilots stylised drum beat that Jack wanted to try out and straight away Brad and I loved the groove so we started to craft a song around the drumbeat. Our other motive at the time was to write a great “pop” song and by pop, I mean it in the classic sense of a song, great melodies, structure and easy to remember lyrics without losing the crazy and theatrical edge that is The Hara.”

Intertwining elements of rock, pop, punk and electro, it’s a euphoric theatrical release that keeps you hooked with its sonical twists.
