Track of the Day | The Night Café – Endless Lovers

The Night Café have released their new single ‘Endless Lovers’.

Landing amidst the band’s UK tour dates supporting The Wombats, the track is the first new material from the band’s anticipated debut album, due for release later in 2019 via AWAL.

Speaking of the single, frontman Sean Martin said: “For me, ‘Endless Lovers’ has an important message that you should sort of ‘check yourself before you wreck yourself’ in a relationship. It’s about me being depressed and feeling like everyone around you and your significant other is against you, and it cuts so deep that you just want to push them away. The song was written from a hypothetical point of view, but also I did feel like that at the time with no valid reason apart from my head just being fucked. I’m sure people will have felt the exact same way. But in many ways, this song can be whatever you need it to be about.”

LMLL favourites The Night Cafe have done it again with another addictive jangly indie tune. Showcasing a more laidback side to their shimmering sound, Sean’s vocals with his distinct raw scouse tone are waiting to take you on a journey line-by-line.

With recent arena support slots, the band are ready to continue their rise into 2019 to as they’ve already been announced as Circa Waves main support on their April UK tour, alongside summer slots at Community Festival and Sounds of the City.
