Liverpool indie four-piece Venus Demilo have unveiled their new single ‘Bite My Tongue’.

The single release follows the band’s recent support slots with The Pigeon Detectives and Johnny Foreigner, alongside their support from BBC Introducing Merseyside, It’s All Indie and Hype Machine.

Speaking of their new single, lead singer Tom Anderson explained: “We’ve all been a little bit too honest after a few drinks and obsessed about it the next day. We like to write songs about real life situations that dig a bit deeper into what makes people tick”.

With its up-tempo guitar melodies combined with a Prince inspired 80’s synth blend, ‘Bite My Tongue’ is overflowing with relatable lyrics as Tom’s distinctive vocals lead the way.
