Whitney Bjerken has released her new single ‘i said that i wasn’t… (i was)’.

The single marks a shift in sound for the artist following the release of her debut EP ‘Mental Gymnastics’ which has gained over 700,000 collective streams to-date.

Speaking of the single, Whitney said: “‘i said that i wasn’t… (i was)’ is about being confused about your feelings toward a person. I’m someone who usually has very strong opinions about someone pretty quickly but, this song is about the times when I may have made my mind up a little too soon. I think being wrong is such a huge part of being a human and I wanted to make a song embracing that!.”

‘I said that I wasn’t… (I was)’ blends driving guitars and soaring vocals with lyrics that are both vulnerably heartfelt and playfully honest. Designed for singing out loud, it’s an instant earworm that demands the volume be turned up.
