Heading to Wickerman Festival this year? Check out the new activity additions including a roller disco, hot tubs and a mobile rave unit.
To support this year’s schedule, the festival has received £17,000 funding from Dumfries and Galloway Council adding a host of new free on-site activities to the line-up.
The new additions include Wickerman’s first Roller Disco within the Headphone Arena, hot tubs and the return of the Palace Outdoor Cinema.
Dance workshops will be available on the Friday from Fly Right Dance Company, a mobile Rave Unit will pop-up across the weekend and you can catch walkabout theatre from Mischief La Bas.
And of course, it wouldn’t be Wickerman without the family favourites.
The children’s area will cost £3 per day with all admission charges donated towards the education of James Okeyo, an African orphan who the festival have sponsored since 2011. The area includes storytelling, singsongs, art workshops and puppet shows.
The 7stanes Display Team will return along with mountain bike tasters, climbing walls, bouncy castles, laser quest, festival golf and segway riding.
If you want to relax, The Retreat will offer a little break from the festival madness with massages, facials and yoga sessions.
Tickets are still available with a full list of prices and pick-up places via the Wickerman Festival website.
