A brand new all-day festival will take over Newcastle’s Riverside this summer.

The Summer Punch Ball will transform the Quayside music venue into a mini music festival for one day only on Saturday 12th August.

11 acts will perform across two stages, local food stalls will serve up street food bites while summer punch cocktails will be poured.

The festival will be headlined by North Yorkshire’s garage rockers Avalanche Party, following their previous Newcastle festival headliner at Meet The North in May.

Joining them on the line-up are Coquin Migale, A Festival, A Parade, Dose, Penguin, Ronald Raygun and Tom Hepburn.

The second stage will combine hip hop and electronic artists in the venue’s beer garden with showcases from artists including Xaatu, Sagaboi and Jister.
