Kerrang Tour 2010 Glasgow Claire Featuring All Time Low, The Blackout, Young Guns and My Passion this tour was one of my favourites. It was also the first time I managed to see The Blackout live and their set really made me appreciate the passion they put into their live performances. A great line-up and it was enjoyed by all!
Kids in Glass Houses; Dirt part 2 with Boys like girls Bristol Sian Two great bands, one great tour!
Leeds Festival Leeds Ellie
Leeds Festival Leeds Megan The return of Blink 182!
McFly Wigan Lucy-Jayne It was the event that kicked off the start of summer for me and everything about it was amazing – the atmosphere and the after-show buzz. I’ve yet to go to a gig that leaves me with a feeling that matches up to what I felt after Wigan!
Pendulum Leeds Megan
Scouting For Girls Thetford Forest Lucy-Jayne It was the largest crowd they’d ever played for and everyone was just going crazy. They seemed to enjoy it just as much as the audience did, constantly grinning and interacting with the crowd. Their set was full of extremely high energy songs and I don’t think anybody stopped jumping from the start right through to the end of their closing song, ‘she’s so lovely’. They also played ‘blue as your eyes’ live for the first time which was brilliant because its one of my favourites!
Slam Dunk Festival 2010 Leeds Claire It was a fantastic day filled with a host of great live music, alcohol and friends; what more could you want!
The Wombats Leeds Lucy-Jayne I’ve been wanting to see them live for ages, so of course I got tickets as soon as i heard about them coming to Leeds. They played a lot of their new stuff from their album coming out next year(2011) and they mixed it up with their well-known old stuff (let’s dance to joy division, kill the director, etc). they were really energetic on stage, they never stood still and they were thoroughly entertaining.
You Me At Six Glasgow Claire The ‘Hold Me Down’ tour in general was a great tour, with strong support acts. It was an amazing atmosphere and the crowd all seemed to go away smiling and looking forward the bands Hold Me Down Part 2 which was to follow in December.
Young Guns Yeovil Sian
