Landmarks have announced the release of their third EP ‘In Spite Of It All’.
It’s been far from an easy journey for the release of the Manchester quartet’s new EP.
As the band were almost finished wrapping up recording, the studio was broken into during the night with most of the equipment stolen.
Luckily, producer Matt Heap was able to recover the equipment and save the EP, inspiring the title of the release.
Landmarks’ bassist and co-vocalist Adam explained: “That traumatic event solidified the phrase in our minds. It’s subsequently come to work almost as a band motto for us. Thanks to an unexpected twist-of-fate, our producer Matt Heap was able to recover most of this equipment, and he managed to save this EP, and the whole thing reminded us to just keep giving everything we have, and to take each obstacle as it comes. I’m glad that we went through it in a way.”
With the EP rescued and set for release on August 12th via Scylla Records, the band has revealed the lead track ‘Cutting Strings’.
The full track listing for ‘In Spite Of It All’ is as follows:
1. Translucent
2. Cutting Strings
3. Limb From Limb
4. Friend Of Mine
5. With Clarity
