The Hearts have released the music video for their new single ‘Lovers Drug’.

Produced and directed by the band, the video was recorded in Splott Warehouse in Cardiff.

Speaking of the single release, the band said: “Lyrically the song is a nod to our younger years and lust and love in adolescent minds. Addictive, but hard to work out which one you crave more.

“It [the video] is a simple concept, I guess; I pop a (pill) love heart, it hits me, love it/hate it, repeat. By the time we did the final shot I was sugar wired and must’ve eaten a lifetime supply of sweets that said ‘be mine’ and ‘tickle me’. Rock ‘n’ roll, eh?”.

‘Lovers Drug’ is a catchy anthemic hit. With a strong chorus which has been circling our brain since our first listen, The Hearts have created an addictive track that leaves you wanting more.
