After an hour in the company of Jamie Macdowell and Tom Thumb we were astounded by what we were hearing and seeing.

Tom managed to create incredible jaw-dropping sounds using his voice and Jamie showcased his talented songwriting, an effort which captivated the audience and made you wonder why his work hasn’t been picked up on more.

The duo work extremely well together and showcase their sheer talents throughout the hour.

Allowing each individual to shine in their own sections, the raw vocals of Jamie and Tom’s beatboxing skills are enough to amaze anyone.

The bond between the two friends is clear and their jovial attitude throughout is a nice touch, especially when the size of the venue creates a real intimate feel.

The well-written songs work very well with the beatboxing sounds and what they manage to create is something truly unique, a show unlike anything we’ve seen at the Fringe before.

At some points, forgetting lyrics and chords upsets the flow a little – it would easily be 5 stars if they managed to tighten up their performance.

A show you could return to night after night without ever feeling bored!
