You cannot help but like Vikki Stone as she bounds on to the stage full of energy.
She managed to maintain full stage presence throughout the show and on hearing the first song we were eager to hear more.
But it is not only the humour element to her songs that had the audience hooked, as her powerful vocals can not go unnoticed.
With all the hype surrounding last year’s show, we were keen to find out if this was a one-off, but it was evident from Vikki’s performance that she had validated last year’s intense publicity.
The cleverly written songs are a great showcase of her talent and it would be well-received if she added more songs to the set.
Unfortunately on this night a heckler managed to break up the flow and gave the set a scripted feel rather than a constant flow.
Despite this, the show manages to blend together well with a special surprise at the end.
An instant mood lifter.
