Amy Lou has released her third single ‘Addiction’.

The single release follows Amy’s recent sold out shows, festival slots and radio airplay including BBC Scotland and Amazing Radio.

Focusing on the “addictive and whimsical act of falling in love”, the track was written and produced with her musical co-writer and drummer Joe Kane and recorded Eggman Studios.

Speaking of the single, Amy said: “’Addiction’ is point blank a love song. It’s written about my amazing girlfriend who has a slight love of EDM and Rave music – her family was (and still is ) very involved in the local rave scene which is built around a very prevalent dance hall in our local town were underground raves have been kicking about since the 90s. So I wanted to dip some electric music into my love of indie guitar music.”

‘Addiction’ is an apt title for Amy Lou’s latest release which we’ve had on repeat since our first listen. It’s fun, heart-warming and will leave you hooked – just like falling love.
