Ellie Moon has released her new single ‘Promise It Won’t Be Boring’.

The latest track from Ellie Moon follows her debut release ‘Indecisive‘, a previous LMLL TOTD which we still often have on repeat.

Speaking of the song, Ellie said: “I wrote it about a wild weekend I had in Glasgow. Lyrically it’s the antithesis of a party anthem, and I wanted to convey that sense of impending doom you feel at the end of a night out…but the reality is the next day is never as bad as we make it out to be.”

The single is accompanied by a VHS style video which takes influence from Blondie’s ‘Denis’, The Clash, B52s and The Human League.

With retro-esque production, ‘Promise It Won’t Be Boring’ is another glistening pop gem from Ellie. With quirky tongue-in-cheek lyrics, it’s another charming release from the singer-songwriter. Flowing with relatable lyrics in her addictive vocal tone, the styling throws back to the playful lyrical era of Lily Allen and Kate Nash.
