False Friends have released their new single ‘Such Good Weather’.
Self-produced and recorded on both sides of the Irish Sea, the single track was written in the last weeks of the first COVID-19 lockdown.
Speaking of the single, frontman Jonny Kirwan said “’Such Good Weather’ is a summer anthem about deteriorating mental health and the hope that when the sun starts shining it will self-heal as if by magic. Spoiler alert: it doesn’t… Ya know, that old summer anthem cliche”.
Their honest folk-pop track is the perfect sunkissed soundtrack for summer days. It’s instantly enticing with its harmony-filled chorus set to leave itself on repeat in your head hours after listening, thanks to the band’s knack for creating uplifting, hopeful singles.
