Fizzy Blood have released their new single ‘Ka Palaho Beach’.

The single marks the band’s first release in four years and sees the band embrace a new sound.

Speaking of the single, songwriter and guitarist Paul Howells said: “‘Ka Palaho Beach’ is our first new music in four years. The world has changed a lot since then and so have we. We felt it was important to release this now as, when we started writing it, it maybe felt once-removed from reality, but more and more the content of what it means seems to mirror what we experience day-to-day. It’s essentially a cautionary message about the cost of convenience and the cost of luxury. I won’t go into it further than that as I don’t want to diminish any other meaning that people might pull from it themselves, but to sum it up – it just felt like the right time.”

‘Ka Palaho Beach’ is a charming release with a retro edge that’s smooth and sultry in its experimental alt-rock sound.
