Uninvited have released their new single ‘Diet Cigarette’.

The second single from the Scottish indie-rockers was produced by Jamie Holmes (Josef, The Van T’s) and Johnny Madden (Baby Strange) and recorded at Castle of Doom Studios in Glasgow.

Speaking of the single, the band describes the track as their way of “taking back power in one-dimensional relationships and friendships that leave you burnt out, as if it was only a matter of convenience to them.”

The new single comes ahead of their forthcoming Glasgow show at Audio supporting Velvet on October 29th.

It’s hard to believe ‘Diet Cigarette’ is only Uninvited’s second release. It’s instantly welcoming in sound with its conquering combination of velvety vocals and shimmering guitars.

With only two singles behind them, they’re rightly making a mark and we can’t wait to hear more from the band!
