JW Paris have released their new single ‘Favourite Thing’.

The new single comes ahead of the band’s headline show at London’s Werkhaus on December 10th.

Speaking of the single, the band explained: “We were sitting in the middle of Joshua Tree thinking about some of the struggles and pressures, (ironic we know) you have being in a band and working full time and various other things that come into play, and actually when we sat back and thought about where it all started and where we’d come, it’s actually quite special. Sometimes, like most things you really have to sit back to appreciate what you have and what you’re fighting to achieve. For us, this track was about appreciating the struggle and hopefully speaks to others in the same way.”

‘Favourite Thing’ is a heartfelt indie-rock release that, although takes a while to fully warm up, is worth the wait as the track leaps from poetic almost spoken chant-like lyrics to a belting out energetic anthem.
