KAWALA have announced their new single release ‘Runaway’.

Out now via Mahogany Records, ‘Runaway’ is the second single taken from their forthcoming debut EP ‘Counting The Miles’.

Speaking of the single, KAWALA said: “With our new single ‘Runaway’, we wanted to start the new year with something more upbeat, rhythmic and dancey. While we’ve maintained a strong running theme of journey & exploration, we’ve also managed to pair that with a video about space aliens and monsters, obviously.”

In true KAWALA style, Jim Higson’s distinct vocals lead the way to their signature style. Continually creating music that refuses to be pigeon-holed into one genre, KAWALA have crafted an intriguing blend that’s had us hooked.

With ‘Runaway’, you’ll be dreaming of dancing around a festival field with the sun on your face, a drink in your hand and no worries in the world, it’s an uplifting release that beats the winter blues.

With an EP in the works and a forthcoming support slot on tour with Dodie which will see the band perform in venues, including Glasgow’s iconic Barrowlands, 2019 is already set to be an exciting year for the Camden five-piece.
