Keir Gibson has released his debut single ‘Eyes Wide’.

Mixed & mastered by Grammy-nominated mixer Matty Green and Grammy award-winning mastering engineer Joe LaPorta, the new single was released ahead of Keir’s slot at Belladrum Festival.

Speaking of the single, Keir explained: “I’ve been writing songs since I was 12 years old at home in Fort William with my guitar and it finally felt like the right time to get into the studio and work on my first release. It was important for me to have the chance to experiment with different sounds and to realise the kind of music I want to keep making, namely a unique brand of alternative pop that you might not expect to hear coming out of the Scottish Highlands…Hopefully people like it and want to hear more!”

This summer Keir is also set to perform at True North Festival on September 21st.

Flowing with relatable lyrics, Keir Gibson’s vocals are instantly entrancing as ‘Eyes Wide’ seamlessly blends a trio of genres with an electronica, pop and folk twist. For a debut track, it’s extremely well crafted and catchy, leaving us wanting more from Keir.
